United Way names campaign chairpersons, Pacesetters

United Way of Sandusky County named Barry and Jan Luse as the 2016 Campaign Chairs and announced the 2016 Campaign Pacesetters at its Annual Campaign Kick-Off Reception held at Chateau Tebeau Winery.

Barry Luse is the Senior Vice President and Trust Officer at Croghan Colonial Bank and Jan Luse is a retired Fremont Ross High School math teacher and an adjunct faculty member at Terra State Community College.

The Luses will lead the campaign toward the $825,000 fundraising goal for United Way of Sandusky County. Barry has been involved in the Fremont Rotary Club, Fremont Rotary Foundation, Sandusky County Communities Foundation Board, ProMedica Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, Grace Lutheran Endowment Board, Sandusky County Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, ABLE and LAWO (Toledo) Board, United Way of Sandusky County Board, Chamber of Commerce Board, YMCA Board, Prevention Partnership, Inventing Our Future, and the Leadership Sandusky County Board. Jan has served as a Girl Scout troop leader, junior class adviser, and a Sunday school teacher. They are members of Grace Lutheran Church.

This year’s Campaign Pacesetters are Crown Battery Manufacturing Company, First National Bank, Fremont Federal Credit Union, Green Bay Packaging Company, Mosser Construction, Sandusky County Department of Job and Family Services, Style Crest, Terra State Community College, Whirlpool Corporation-Clyde Division, and WSOS Community Action Commission.
